Furniture Purchases
All furniture purchases must be made through an approved furniture supplier.
Before submitting any furniture request, please review the SSCM Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment Site to ensure items are being purchased from an approved furniture supplier.
Furniture must meet the safety and quality standards outlined in Risk Management's Furniture Purchasing Guidelines. Purchasing through approved furniture suppliers helps ensure compliance with these standards and protects the District.
Amazon
Amazon is convenient for purchasing general school and office supplies such as classroom materials, consumables, and basic office items. If you do not have an account, please contact your bookkeeper or strategicsourcing@dcsdk12.org to ensure you are added to the DCSD Amazon Business Account. Personal accounts for DCSD purchases are prohibited.
Amazon is not an approved furniture supplier, and we cannot guarantee that furniture purchased through Amazon meets the safety and quality standards outlined in the District’s Furniture Purchasing Guidelines, which have been established in coordination with Risk Management.

Eon Office
Eon is a great supplier where you can find Office Supplies and furniture. They are a good competitor to Amazon and offer next-day free shipping if the order is placed by 5 pm. They are a local, woman-owned company and work with various school districts around Colorado.
Office Depot Update
All orders placed on business.officedepot.com. Any orders with an overall total of less than $50.00 will be assessed a $9.99 delivery fee.
If your order starts at $50.00 and is split into two or more deliveries, this fee will not be assessed. We are taking this step in response to the ongoing challenges in the national supply chain that have resulted in increased costs in the transportation of goods.
Please note that orders placed through the District punchout in Workday are not being impacted by this delivery fee at this time.
