Welcome Back- Click here to request SWAAAC Support for a student!
KiwiWrite Math is a web-based app that gives students an on-screen software interface to write math equations on their computers or tablets. Students simply have to click, tap, or type the numbers and symbols they want to add to the page.
For students with disabilities:
KiwiWrite Math provides an alternative to pencil-and-paper math. Designed for students who struggle to handwrite math automatically and legibly, our assistive technology app does the writing so the student can concentrate on solving the math!
KiwiWrite Math Introduction Tutorial
SWAAAC has a limited number of licenses available for KiwiWrite Math. To ensure that the software is an appropriate and beneficial support for each student, a 30-day trial is required before a premium license can be provided. A letter needs to be sent home for parents to sign for student use under 13 years old. ** This must be filled out before trial. Click here to make a copy of the letter.
If you believe KiwiWrite Math may benefit your student, please complete a SWAAAC Support Request Form and select “I have equipment in mind.”
At the conclusion of the 30-day trial, contact SWAAAC to schedule an appointment to review the trial experience and, if appropriate, set up the premium version of KiwiWrite Math for continued use.
This trial process helps ensure that our limited licenses are provided to students who will benefit most from the software.
Educators and professionals are all invited to try KiwiWrite by first starting a 30 day free trial, available through the free trial sign-up button. KiwiWrite Math is also happy to provide free subscriptions to ATs, OTs, or educators who evaluate student needs or are supporting a student using KiwiWrite. Please trial the program first and then contact KiwiWrite Math to request that a complimentary educator's subscription be added to your account, or to request a demo or more information about additional pilot programs for schools.
