Notable highlights
The Year 8 boys won their first-round match in the football National Cup where they were drawn against Kings Langley School. The boys played some excellent football to win 4-1.
The Year 10 & Year 11 boys both won their football double header vs Broxbourne School, and both teams have gone on to repeat this success in either the county or national cup, with the Year 11 boys winning their first-round County Cup match 9-0.
The Year 9 girls won their first netball game of the season vs Chauncy School. The girls train on a Monday after school and have been focussing on their defending skills. However, all aspects of their play were very good in this match.
The Year 7 boys beat Croxley Danes School in the first round of the football County Cup. The boys train on a Friday after school and are now drawn at home in Round 2 with the game to be played after half term.
The Year 8 boys finished 3rd in the Cheshunt Rugby Club festival. They then won their district rugby game vs Simon Balle School, 9 tries to 1. They will play other schools in the coming weeks.
