C1 to C6 Consequences chart
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Assistant Headteachers, Lauren Thomas, Angharad Maughan or Steve Cove or our Key Stage 3 and 4 Directors of Learning, Michelle Jaggs and James Fox.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of the dress code for the school. This was made clear in the letter you received from Mr Oliver Price at the end of the Summer term 2023:
all students are required to remove their coats (which should be of a conventional design) during lesson time
navy blue blazers with the school crest attached on the breast pocket should always be worn and cannot be replaced by a coat. Hoodies are not permitted to be worn in school at any time
plain saxe-blue shirts must be tucked in and bedford check kilts (skirts) must not be rolled
trousers must be plain black or dark grey straight-legged uniform trousers. Denim-type fabric, leggings, skinnies or jeans are not permitted
nail varnish, false nails and false eyelashes are not permitted to be worn in school
any earrings must be plain gold or silver studs and only one set should be worn. No other jewellery is allowed in school and will be confiscated if it is seen by a member of staff
black formal shoes should be worn with black, navy or grey ankle socks or opaque black tights (when wearing the school kilt (skirt)). Trainers, or any shoes resembling trainers, are not acceptable
As you are no doubt aware, the first week of the school term was exceptionally hot and as such, while we expected students to bring their blazers to school, we did not require that they were worn around the site. Equally, up to today, we have asked students to remove any jewellery we have seen. From Monday 18 September, please be aware that any items of jewellery worn (excepting one pair of studs) will be confiscated and parents / carers asked to come to the school to sign for and collect these items.
