Research:

Access to the Internet and wireless at home makes students more likely to have good online skills and increases access to learning resources (Rainie, 2012).

Summary:

The Will County 92 community is afforded and has internet access on a wide scale.  A majority of it being via wireless home networks. 

A majority of students k-8 take their devices home on a nightly basis.

Actions:

Continue to support those in the community who do not have strong internet WIFI access at home with district provided hotspots.
