RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗕. 𝗠𝗮ñ𝗮𝗯𝗼, chair of Department of Management, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, chair of Department of Industrial and Information Technology, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of research in fostering innovation and institutional growth. The main discussion was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻, campus research coordinator, who presented the University and campus research agenda, advisory committee guidelines, and general requirements. The recently approved research priority agenda were also shared, providing student researchers new areas for exploration. The department research coordinators, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗖. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗼, provided program-specific guidelines, schedules, and priority areas, while 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗩. 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗹, campus gender and development coordinator, emphasized the use of gender-fair language in research.

Students actively participated in the open forum, raising questions and clarifying processes related to their research journey. The sessions concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Bayson, who encouraged students to pursue their projects with integrity, creativity, and dedication. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗚. 𝗗𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝗮, who served as the moderator, ensured the smooth facilitation of the program throughout the day.

All in all, the orientation was made successful through the all-out support of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, campus administrator, whose leadership and encouragement inspired students to embrace research as a vital part of their academic journey. Equally important was the active participation of faculty members serving as the advisory committee, whose guidance and dedication ensure quality research outputs while mentoring student researchers throughout their projects.

𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Cavite State University – Carmona Campus, through its Research Services Office, successfully held the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on February 26, 2026 via Cisco WebEx. The event gathered 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱- 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, together with their advisory committee, to prepare them for their undergraduate thesis, enterprise development, capstone, and design projects. The morning session catered to students from BS Business Administration and BS Information Technology programs, all enrolled under the proposal stage. Meanwhile, the afternoon session was attended by students from BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, BS Industrial Technology, and BS Information Technology who are completing their final manuscript.

The 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 of 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, spearheaded by the Campus Research Coordinator, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻, together with the Research and Extension Monitoring and Evaluation Unit Coordinator, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗟𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗦. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼. With the strong support of the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, this initiative ensured that all proposals were complete in form, aligned with the University’s research thrusts, and responsive to both local and national concerns.

The coverage of topics presented was wide-ranging and impactful, covering digital systems and transformation, academic performance analytics, entrepreneurial mindset, financial literacy and livelihood pathways, inclusive education, community empowerment, and innovative technologies. These proposals reflect the dedication of our researchers to address pressing challenges and opportunities in society.

This milestone would not have been possible without the never-ending guidance of our Campus Administrator, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, whose leadership continues to inspire excellence. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all campus researchers for their time and effort in crafting meaningful proposals; to the members of the Local Research Council, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, 𝗗𝗿.
