Meals at the Canadian Unitarian Council (CUC) National Symposium
D Building, Salons A/B/C

Meals are great times to connect with friends, old and new. The Sunday multigenerational lunch and Sunday banquet are special occasions to celebrate our Canadian UU community.

Algonquin College Food & Conference Services have planned a delicious menu for us, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and special request options. All meals have to be pre-ordered; your meal preferences should have been previously indicated when you registered for the symposium. We ask that you consume the meals that you’ve chosen and not a different meal as the special request meals are prepared only for those who’ve indicated this on the registration form.

There is a limited number of meal tickets on sale onsite during the conference at the registration table.

Campus food vendors close at 3:00 pm ET at this time of the year.

There are a few other food options within walking distance; please check opening hours as some locations may not be open on the statutory holiday, Monday, May 21, 2023. College Square Mall, located next to the campus, has some food outlets and retail stores, including a Loblaws grocery store.

Meals (gratuities & taxes included)

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free & special dietary options are available at every meal. Please indicate your needs on the registration form, and then identify yourself to the catering staff during mealtimes.

All meals must have been ordered with your registration. Full conference registration includes the Sunday banquet. For young adults, registration also includes the Bridging Dinner and Multigen Lunch. Meals for CanUUdle participants are included in registration except for the bridging dinner (bridgers and advisors who are young adults can select this option on the registration form if they'd like to attend). There will be a limited number of meals to order with onsite registration and we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

Please note that there is no sliding scale available for meals due to fixed costs from Algonquin College.
