Chalice Circles & Connecting Sessions

Connect - Share - Learn!

Chalice Circles: In person and Zoom

We’re introducing Chalice Circles this year! Small groups will meet over Saturday and Sunday meals to reflect on their experience during the symposium and respond to questions focused on being a radically inclusive faith. Young adult and adult participants will be randomly placed into Chalice Circles. There will be separate Chalice Circles for in-person and virtual participants.

Chalice Circles: In person: D Building, Salon A, B, C

Connecting Sessions: In-person

Connecting sessions are an informal way for you to connect with other Unitarian Universalists on topics or areas of interest. This year at the symposium, meal times are opportunities for networking.  At specific meal times, tables will be labeled with categories that might be of interest: presidents of small congregations, treasurers, lay chaplains, religious educators, etc. You are invited to sit with your colleagues, and also to arrange additional meeting times. If you have further categories, make your own sign!

Connecting sessions for those attending virtually will not be held due to the time difference between the Pacific and Atlantic time zones. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Conversation with the CUC Board of Trustees: In person and Zoom
Saturday, May 20, 4:45 - 5:45 pm ET  (find your local time)
In person: Robert C. Gillet Student Commons, Room E206A & B and Zoom

Join the CUC Board for a conversation on what inspires us to action and where we go in the next few years to continue to grow the vitality of our national UU community.

Some topics the Board will explore include a strategic plan for the CUC, the Unitarian Universalist Association's Article II Study Commission's Report and why Canadian UUs should be aware of this, and the work of the CUC's Decision Making Exploration Task Force.

The board will also be available to answer questions.
