Bringing Promises to Life with Rev. Eric Meter, Rev. Diane Rollert, and Rev. Fulgence Ndagijimana
We will gather from across the nation to celebrate what has brought us to this moment in making manifest our new principle: promoting “individual and communal action that accountably dismantles racism and systemic barriers to full inclusion in ourselves and our institutions." This is a promise worthy of this time and the fullness of our creative energies.
The Sunday morning worship service will be led by Rev. Eric Meter of the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa alongside Rev. Diane Rollert of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, Rev. Fulgence Ndagijimana, youth and young adults, and others.
Raised Unitarian Universalist, Rev. Eric has served our congregations in Northern California, upstate New York, and in the U.S. Great Lakes region. Proud to now be in Canada, he and his wife have family in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Germany, and the United States.
The Sunday Multigenerational Worship Service will be livestreamed on the CUC's YouTube Channel, and will be available for congregations to use immediately after as well. The service is also available on Zoom as there will be some interactive components - https://bit.ly/2023-05_NationalService

In this annual youth-and young adult-led worship, we celebrate the many significant transitions of our lives, with a particular focus on those who are "bridging" from the youth to the young-adult communities. Bridging is one of the unique rites of passage of our Unitarian Universalist faith. Symposium attendees of all ages are invited to witness this important transition ceremony, and celebrate those who are bravely stepping from one phase of life to another.
Junior youth (12-13 year-olds) may also bridge into youth community, and young adults who have reached the age of 35 may wish to bridge out of young adulthood. If you would like to be recognized in either of these ways, reach out to casey.stainsby@cuc.ca.
The Bridging Ceremony will be livestreamed on Zoom. Contact casey.stainsby@cuc.ca for the link.
