Meets begin at 5:00. Coach Papinaeu will send out notices on starting times for boys and girls by grade. 


A.  All National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules and penalties will apply provided there is not a league rule that supersedes it. 

B. There are 4 meets a season (end of March through the first week of May)

C. Meets are on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. and typically end around 8:30 p.m.  Pending coaches approval, you are not required to stay once your events are completed. 

D. Meets are held at Scott Field in Little Rock.

E. Participants are allowed to compete in a total of 5 events each Meet, including relays.

F. The maximum number of Events an athlete can participate in is 4. There is no minium requirement. 

G. The maximum number of entries per Event is 4 per school. 

H. To be entered in events, athletes must provide attendance status to the Head Coach no later than Monday at 5:00 p.m., prior to Wednesday Meet.

CHURCH LEAGUE ATHLETIC POLICY




I. Proper running shoes should be worn. Track spike shoes are allowed.

J. Parents are asked to volunteer at all Meets.  Each school is assigned a station (or stations depending on the number of participants from a school) at each Meet. 

K. Volunteers must take the CMG training and be certified. 

L. Uniform will be provided 

M.  Events are first come, first serve. 

N. Jewelry is not permitted with the exception of medical or religious medals (taped to the chest under the uniform). "Newly pierced ears can be covered with athletic tape. 

O. Gloves are not permitted for discus or shot put; however, wrist braces are allowed. 

Students, parents and coaches are to help clean the field after practices and Meets.
