Firecracker Schedule

A. Players participate on the Central Arkansas Catholic Firecrackers basketball team. 

B. All National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) rules and penalties will apply.

C. Players from all Little Rock/North Little Rock Catholic Schools are combined to form the Catholic Firecrackers team. 

D. Compete in AAA Central Ar Jr. High League

E. Practices are 5 days a week at Catholic High's football field.

F. Game nights are Tuesday evenings.  Home field is  at Catholic High. 

G. Game season runs September - November. 

H. There is a 7th grade team and an 8th grade team. Some 7th graders may be invited to play on the 8th grade team. 

I. 7th grade games will start at 5:30 p.m. 8th grade games will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of the 7th grade game. 

J. A game jersey will be provided. 

• wash cold, hang to dry

• returned in plastic bag with child's name as soon as season ends. 

K. Parents will need to purchase a white helmet and white pants. 

L. The Firecracker football team will be part of the Central Arkansas Junior High Conference, which will require travel. Members of the Central Arkansas Junior High Conference are: Catholic, Benton, Bryant, NLR, Conway, Cabot and Lake Hamilton. 

M. Every team will play every other team in a single round robin. 

• Each team will have nine games, with four teams having ten games, and two having eleven. Games will still be played on Tuesdays with the first game in August and the last game will be the last week of the regular high school football season. Each team will have about 4 home games.

• For the Semi-final Tournament, the top 4 teams will compete. The two winners from the Semi-finals will play for the championship.
