Cheerleading Rules

2023/2024

PAROCHIAL LEAGUE ATHLETIC POLICY

J. The girls MUST have a physical and any other completed CTK athletic forms required before they will be allowed to participate in any cheerleading activities.

K.  Girls are to be at every practice and game unless otherwise excused.  Written notification or email is required.  Girls that do not attend practice the week before a game will sit out 1/2 per missed practice.

L.  A Rules Policy Form specifying the Cheerleading Rules must be signed by a parent AND the cheerleader before participating.  This form will be passed out before our season begins.

M.  Demerits will be given for conduct not becoming of a Firecracker cheerleader.  If a cheerleader receives 5 demerits, she will not be allowed to cheer at the next game.  However, she will be expected to be dressed out and present at that game even though she will not be cheering.  The Demerit policy will be given out at a later date.

N.  Conduct grades are VERY important.  If a cheerleader's conduct grade at school is below 80%, she cannot cheer until the next report card is handed out.  Cheerleaders will still be required to dress out at the game.

Students, parents and coaches are to help clean the field after practices and after games.
