In the summer of 2020, FamilyLife will be relocating its headquarters from Little Rock, Arkansas to the world headquarters of our parent organization, Cru, in Orlando, Florida. This decision was made to increase FamilyLife’s capacity to take the Gospel of Christ to every family across our nation and around the world. We are excited to see how this move will grow the ministry and our impact. 

We are as committed as ever to our mission and vision that every home might be a godly home, and families are facing more challenges than ever before. In order for FamilyLife to help reach every family, we need to position and mobilize our resources and people to become a field-focused ministry, equipping families to live out the Great Commission in their neighborhoods. 

Moving to Cru headquarters will provide the space, technology, and global communications—the infrastructure and the atmosphere—to accelerate the effort to impact every home. The Orlando property houses several Cru ministries and provides access to global partners with whom we can collaborate to better understand and engage families. Orlando also offers a strong candidate pool as we expand and recruit people to join us on this important mission.

What will this mean for our family? God has called us to this ministry and we are very excited about the trajectory FamilyLife is on and our role as we work to reach families desperately in need of the gospel. Our intent is to continue serving with FamilyLife for as long as the Lord enables us to do so. We believe that God has more ministry for us to do and we are trusting Him for continued provision to carry that out. 

What are the implications of this move for us? We believe once the dust settles and FamilyLife gets settled at Cru headquarters our reach will expand greatly. Opportunities await us in new collaborations, partnerships, new staff and many others that God only knows. 

The timing of the move will come in two phases. The first will be complete by August 2020 and the second by August 2021. The Event Planner team that we are part of will be in the second phase. Please pray for all of the staff here. We will all experience grief and loss during this time - some of our friends will move to Orlando, some will be moving to the field and God may call some to new ministry opportunities. So no matter what, we will be separated from friends and relationships we have made here in Arkansas. 

Please pray for us as the Lord leads you. We are sure you can imagine that we have much on our hearts and minds in the days ahead. Also know that God uses your partnership to strengthen us in the uncertainties of life. THANK YOU for praying and lifting us up.
