Praying for your families to feel the peace, presence and assurance that God is with you.
We kicked off our Spring Weekend to Remember events with back-to-back events in Napa. I had the privilege of serving as the Event Planner for both and Angie served as the Shop Manager for the second. This was a first for me because I didn’t have to tear down our setup in between events. Below are some of the top comments from both Napa events where we had 609 attend and 11 salvations reported.
“It helped confirm things that God was already speaking to us. Now we are excited to grow in loving one another but also shifting the tide in our family in demonstrating a Godly marriage. That will hopefully breathe the life and love of God in our family and community.” Wife of 1 year
“Taking the time away from ministry is always complex and difficult. We are tasked with the responsibility of always being on, but who or when can I take the time for the "Me". This getaway was not just what we needed, it was what every pastor should do. Thank you for allowing us to recharge, renew, and restore the battery for our marriage. It allows us to continue investing in the lives of our congregation and community.” Pastor
“This is our second time going and both times left us feeling refreshed and excited about moving closer to oneness, pursuing God and life together. Weekend to Remember gave us better tools for resolving conflict and showing our love and appreciation to each other in a greater way. Last time here, I carried something heavy that I wasn’t ready to let go of yet that had an huge impact on our relationship and this time I am proud to report, it has been let go.” Husband, 8 years
“Realizing that our marriage has a purpose and that it is to show others who God is.” Husband, 21 years
“This getaway was a reminder that all marriages have issues and there’s hope for all of us. Nothing is too big when God is at the center.” Wife, 1 year
“We always have work to do to bring our best selves to our relationship. This event resets us and refocuses our marriage so we are better serving each other according to what and who God called us to be.” Wife, 11 years married
Sunday night after the first event I washed my clothes and prepared for Angie’s arrival on Monday. This also gave us a little time between events to see some of the sights in Northern California.
What a privilege it is for us to get to read about the fruits of what God did in the lives of the couples we served in Napa. Thank you for partnering with us in this fruitful ministry.
