Last month we traveled west to Fort Collins, CO to attend Cru’s biennial conference. Over 2,000 miles by car and for the first time we drove straight out and straight back so Brandon would miss as little football practice as possible. We were joined by over 6,000 missionaries from various Cru ministries from around the world (such as Athletes in Action, Jesus Film, Cru Campus, Josh McDowell Ministries, and FamilyLife to name a few). We spent the week together (re)connecting, fellowshipping, worshipping the Lord and studying Cru’s mission focus together. 

Our focus was around the theme ‘be-cause’: celebrating both the cause that God has called us to and practicing the ‘be’, being still, knowing that He is God. Psalms 46:10 The pictures are of some of the people and places we saw during our time in Colorado.

          • Pray for us as we prepare for the upcoming fall Weekend to Remember events. I will be working Cedar Rapids (Nov. 8-10) and Charleston ( Dec. 13-15)

          • Pray for Rachel as she continues working full time and going to grad school.
