Sociology

Sociology addresses different perspectives and develops a deeper understanding of society. Students will apply this knowledge to analyze a variety of social issues. As opposed to acquiring a set of facts, the class will study diverse issues such as family, drug abuse and friendship.

This challenging course will encourage students to develop a strong foundation of critical thinking and analysis.

Please note: This class includes discussion of mature topics such as racism, incarceration, and cults.
