Summary of the problem
Illegal abortion is a problem because women that have been raped might decide that they don't want to have that baby. Some people might think that a six week old fetus which is the size of a pea is considered a human and that's why abortion is equal to murder. I believe that abortion should not be considered murder because of economic reasons, it's a woman's choice to do what they want with their body.
This video shows women sharing their personal experiences of being denied emergency abortions due to state level abortion bans. They spoke at the Democratic National Convention to show the real life consequences of these restrictions. These stories target to emphasize the dangers that these laws can force on individuals, showing the urgent need for change in abortion policies.
This picture shows people protesting for the right to abort. There's many women that get raped and end up pregnant. There are also young girls that end up pregnant, no child should have to take care of another child.
Due to woman not being able to abort in the state they are in, they have unsafe abortions and that can cause them to die. Unsafe abortions can also cause infertility, infections, injury to internal organs, etc. Unsafe prosedures can cause damge to the uterus, intestines, or other internal organs which can lead to long term health issues.
This is a baby at 13 weeks, which is the size of a peach. Most women usually abort during the first trimester.
There's, many women that want to abort but can't, due to the state they are in. Young girls that have gotten raped would want to abort too. Women have to travel out of states where abortion is illegal to be able to get an abortion. Most women usually abort during the first trimester due to not being able to provide a good life.
Many women and young girls get raped and end up pregnant, they some might not have the choice to abort due to the abortion bans. Denying an abortion after such a traumatic experience cause cause serious consequences on their mental and physical health. It's important for women to have acces to safe and legal abortion services, especially in situations as sensitive as rape. Everyone deserves the right to make choices about their own bodies and health.
Abortion bans can have a significant impact on young people, especially when it comes to their reproductive health choices. These laws might limit access to safe and legal abortions, leading to potential risk for teens who might not have the resources or support to take care of a baby. It's important to consider how these restrictions affect young people who could already be facing challenges in seeking healthcare and making decisions about their bodies.
In my opinion I don't think abortion should be considered murder. In many states, women have gotten raped and they are not able to get an abortion, forcing them to have a baby that they aren't able to take care of. The fetus can have fatal conditions if it's not well taken care of leading to a miscarriage. Women should be able to have abortions because of their baby's health too, some mothers don't want to give birth and have to see their baby struggle because of their health.
