­­­­­­Should people have the right to own and control a gun? Looking at the crime that has been happening around all over the place getting a gun might be something you want to consider.  The problem with this is that there is too much crime, people with guns might use it with bad intentions and do bad stuff. Some people think you should not have the right to own and control a gun because they might use the gun to commit crimes or there could be accidents. However, people should have the right to own and control a gun for their own protection and because it’s their right. 

President Trump said in a conference, "When you have a notice on your front door saying you have guns and will use the guns if somebody enters it might discourage criminals from entering your house." 

   People should own a gun because it protects them from home invasions, assult, homicides, sexual assult. A gun can save your life, Lets say for example if you need help from the police they might take a while to get there so you might have to defend yourself on your own. But still make sure yoir using them correclty and not breaking the law.
