Teenagers who have murder are given adult sentences. Teenagers are young and can be more impulsive than adults. This causes them to do more dangerous things. Teenagers after an adult sentencing can struggle in pursuing what they want to pursue

This person was dealing with family issues and had trouble of knowing of what was wrong and right which lead him to be involved with a gang and made him feel like a family but eventually he went to prison for life at 16.

Teenagers that are in prison or jail can have trouble dealing with other people and could have a chance of getting harmed or killed.

Prefrontal Cortex.

The Prefrontal Cortex is part of the brain and it's what makes teenagers more impulsive to commit dangerous acts such as murder.

Gangs.

Teenagers can get involved into gang members by peer pressure or when gang members spot a teenager dealing with family issues can make them feel apart of their family to be involved

Brain development can affect the thought process on teenagers due to them being more responsive and quick to take actions on fight or flight situations.

How are gangs sometimes to blame for teens committing serious crimes?

Sometimes gang members would try to take advantage of young people to be affiliated with them and they can target people who have trouble growing up due to family issues and feeling like they don't belong.

Is it morally wrong to force children into adult prisons?

It can be morally wrong to put teenagers in these prisons since the U.S. refuses to separate the teenagers from adults which can cause conflicts such as sexual harassment or to them being killed.

My opinion

In my opinion teenagers shouldn't be given adult sentences because they are still too young and because of that they are more vulnerable to their emotions. I think they should be given another chance when it comes to being trialed.
