Discuss 3 topics that you included in your research paper.
A major issue with the American diet is its reliance on processed foods. According to Dr. Cindy Jakubiec in Anchored In Health, "roughly 60% of the American diet is made up of processed foods. This includes soda, fast food, packaged foods, frozen meals, sweets, cereals, and canned soup." These highly processed options are loaded with chemicals, preservatives, and artificial ingredients that are harmful to long-term health.
Mexican food offers a flavorful and healthier alternative to the processed options that dominate American menus. Mexican cuisine emphasizes fresh ingredients like vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, which provide essential nutrients.
One of the primary reasons many Americans continue to eat unhealthy, processed foods is the economic barrier to accessing healthier options. Healthy foods tend to be more expensive, and the affordability of processed foods makes them the default choice for many people.
changes must be made sooner that later. if we dont change how companies put in our food sooner or later who knows what else they might put in next.
