Yale Policy Institute (YPI) High School Fellowship is a nine-week intensive program for high school students passionate about policy, governance, and global affairs. Through this fellowship, students will gain invaluable exposure to policymaking processes, sharpen their analytical and communication skills, and collaborate with Yale undergraduates and peers from around the world to draft policy proposals addressing real-world challenges.
Our curriculum emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking, with weekly lectures, small-group discussions, and mentorship from Yale’s most accomplished student leaders. Topics will include equal justice reform, public health, foreign affairs, environmental policy, and the intersections of technology and governance.

Duration: Nine weeks (virtual format)
Application Fee: $25
Tuition (IF ADMITTED): $375 (Need-based financial aid and fee waivers available)
Eligibility: Open to high school students in grades 9–12 with a demonstrated interest in policy, leadership, and civic engagement.
