TN Promise Scholarship

Tennessee Promise provides students a last-dollar scholarship, meaning the scholarship will cover tuition and fees not covered by the Pell grant, the HOPE scholarship, or state student assistance funds. Students may use the scholarship at any of the state’s 13 community colleges, 27 colleges of applied technology, or other eligible institution offering an associate’s degree program. There are no GPA or ACT requirements to qualify, but students must apply by November 1 at http://tennesseepromise.gov and complete student checklist.

Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship

The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is a one-time $2,500 scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability (LD) and/or ADHD who will be enrolled in a two-year community college, a vocational or technical training program, or a specialized program for students with LD and/or ADHD in the fall. The Anne Ford Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500/year over four years) granted to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability (LD) and/or ADHD who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in the fall. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship

40 scholarships of $30,000/year will be awarded to students attending a 4-yr undergrad institution. Demonstrate financial need with family income under $95,000. Must have a 3.5 or better GPA and ACT of 26 or above. Apply at www.jkcf.org/Scholarships.

High-achieving students may qualify for APSU's academic scholarships. Students are encouraged to apply for admission to APSU EARLY for the best chance of receiving these scholarships with November 1 being the deadline to apply.

AFS Project

Exchange Students in grades 8th-12th may enter this contest to win a full scholarship to spend two weeks abroad with AFS (a foreign exchange program).
