Shelby Kae Russell Scholarship/Hilldale United Methodist Church

The Shelby Kae Russell Scholarship is funded by a permanent endowment that began in 2012 and is dedicated to the memory of Shelby Kae Russell who exhibited goodness, courage, servitude, Godliness and spiritual maturity. Through Shelby's bubbly personality, her selfless caring and her Christian discipline, came happiness for others. A $1000 scholarship will be offered to a senior to continue their academic schooling in college. Applicant does not have to be affiliated with any church, but must show that he/she has had an active conversation with a youth director/pastor/other Christian group leader as evidenced by the application form. National Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting

Student have the opportunity be awarded 2 $1,000 scholarships from the Eastern Orthodox Committee. Applicants must be an active member of Girl Scouts, be a Gold Award recipient, and be an active member of an Eastern Orthodox Church among other requirements. The Paradigm Challenge Scholarship

The Paradigm Challenge is an annual competition that invites students aged 4 to 18 around the world to use kindness, creativity, and collaboration to help solve real-life problems and make a difference. SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MILITARY ENGINEERS (SAME) Scholarship

SAME Mission: To promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public and private sector engineers, and related professionals.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. A dependent of an active duty, reserve duty, military retired or active society member of the Campbell Post. Active member is defined as being a current member (at the time of the application) who has held current membership for one continuous year or more; to include dependent of employee of a current SAME Campbell Post sustaining member firm; or employee of current sustaining member firm.

2. Be a college student (undergraduate or graduate) or graduating high school senior.

3. Minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale.

4. Accepted by or attending an accredited college or university studying engineering (ABET), architecture, mathematics, computer science or related fields of study.

The Application: The application package including transcripts, two reference forms, and SAT/ACT results (if you are a H.S. senior) must be complete and be postmarked by May 15, 2022 for the application to be considered.

MITSUI U.S.A. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS IN TENNESSEE PROGRAM

The Mitsui U.S.A. Foundation Scholarships in Tennessee Program, now in it's 19th year, will continue in support of aspirations of globally-minded high school seniors across the state. Four $5000 freshman-year scholarships will be funded and awarded to successful applicants who plan to enroll in a four-year Tennessee public college or university- Austin Peay State University, East Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, Tennessee Technological University, The University of Memphis or within the University of Tennessee system.
