Microsoft Disability Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors with disabilities who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and target a career in the technology industry. The scholarships are renewable – each winner who continues to meet the criteria is eligible to receive an annual award of $5,000 for up to four (4) consecutive years for a potential total $20,000 scholarship.

Scholarship for Journalism Diversity

The National Press Club, the leading professional organization for journalists, wants to recruit promising future journalists who will bring diversity to American journalism. The scholarship consists of a $2,000 one-year scholarship, which can be renewed for up to three years at $2,500 per year. The first-year scholarship includes an additional $500 book stipend, the Ellen Masin Persina Scholarship.

Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship

Daughters of American Agriculture Scholarship was created to honor the memory of those courageous and adventuresome pioneer women who played such an important role in the founding of this nation and encourage the present generation to continue their education in agricultural pursuits. These two scholarships ($1,000 each) are available to any farm, ranch or agribusiness woman or her daughter to pursue accredited courses in agriculture leadership, communications, rural sociology, medicine, or any other courses directly related to agriculture.

Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship

The American Legion Auxiliary sponsors the Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship to support the children of our warriors. Three $5000 scholarships are awarded for excellence in academics and volunteerism. Candidates for this award shall be daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, great-grandsons of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion:

Altra Federal Credit Union believes in giving back. The Altra Foundation offers scholarships to young members who have a demonstrated history of community service. Veterinary Summer Experience 2021

The Veterinary Summer Experience Program seeks to provide worthwhile opportunities for high school students interested in veterinary medicine while simultaneously generating a pool of potential veterinary students. To this end, the program has been designed to provide valuable educational experiences and acquaint students with all facets of our exciting profession. Students will shadow in a local veterinary practice in their hometown for five weeks and then spend one week in Knoxville as guests of the veterinary college. While here, they will be involved in various educational programs including lectures, laboratories, and clinical rotations.

Beyond the Burroughs National Scholarship

Beyond the Boroughs awards four-year scholarships -- each worth up to $20,000 – to both male and female students of any race from any state. We aim to create deserved college scholarship opportunities for students, with a primary focus on first generation collegians.

MTSU Prospective Biology Major

The Biology Department at Middle Tennessee State University has three $1,500 scholarships available to first-semester freshman. The recipients of the awards must be graduating high school seniors, must declare Biology as their major and be entering MTSU for the Fall 2020 semester. Successful applicants will also need to demonstrate an interest in the life sciences and have career aspirations in a biological field. The scholarships will be awarded based on the students’ ACT scores, high-school GPA, and their responses on the application form. Visit the guidance department for a copy of the application.

Riding Forward Scholarships

Regions Bank is offering 30 Regions Riding Forward Scholarships to high school seniors and college students through a competitive essay contest about inspirational African-Americans. Fifteen $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and fifteen $3,500 scholarships will be awarded to college students. The Clarksville Lodge No. 89's scholarship committee will award a $1000 scholarship to a Montgomery County senior that is enrolling as a full-time student at a college/university. This scholarship was established for the purpose of assisting the education beyond the high school level in a regular course of study at a degree granting college or university. This can include an Associates Degree in a professional or technical profession.

TN Concrete Association High School Essay Contest

The Tennessee Concrete Association (TCA) is once again sponsoring the annual High School Essay Contest for Tennessee and your students are invited to participate. All entries into Tennessee Concrete Association’s Essay Contest will be judged by a panel of industry personnel and TCA will award cash prizes to the first place ($250), second-place ($100) and third-place ($50) essays. Western Grizzard Memorial Scholarship

The Clarksville Civitan Club sponsors an academic scholarship to Austin Peay State University, renewable for up to three more years (maximum of two semesters per academic year). This scholarship pays $500.00 per semester (payable directly to APSU) and is available to a graduate during the current school year from a high school in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.
