UT Martin Balanced Man Scholarship

Every year we offer thousands of dollars in scholarship money to first-time students at UT Martin who embody the principles of the Balanced Man. Awards are $500 for each recipient. 

The Balanced Man Scholarship is open to first-time students at UT Martin, whether you are an incoming freshman or a transfer student. It is an equal opportunity scholarship, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, and parental status. Scholarship recipients are in no way obligated to join or affiliate with Sigma Phi Epsilon or any other greek organization.

Queen City Masonic Lodge / Larry C. Alford II Scholarship 

This scholarship is a one-time award of $500. 

The recipient may be either male or female, but must be a resident of Montgomery County, Tennessee. 

The recipient must have at least a 3.0 GPA. A current transcript is to accompany the application. Applications without a sealed transcript will not be considered.

National High School Essay ContesT

 $2,500 to the writer of the winning essay, in addition to an all-expense paid trip to the nation’s capital from anywhere in the U.S. for the winner and his or her parents, and an all-expense paid educational voyage courtesy of Semester at Sea. Runner-up receives $1,250 and a full tuition to attend a summer session of National Student Leadership Conference’s International Diplomacy program. Due to COVID-19 some prizes may not be claimable immediately.

Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship


Our merit-based scholarships range in value from $2,000-$5,000 annually. Eligible applicants may apply for up to four years of undergraduate study.

Most of our scholarships benefit the dependents of enlisted members who are active duty, reserve or retired. However, we do have several scholarship opportunities for the children of commissioned officers, and a unique scholarship for Aviation Logistics Command Elizabeth City Coast Guard families.

ETHAN ROBLES-MOORE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 

Ethan Robles-Moore was a 2021 graduate of Rossview High School who was attending the Tennessee College of Applied Technology when he passed away unexpectedly in 2022. One $1000 scholarships will be awarded in his honor to a Rossview High School post-secondary bound senior pursuing a degree or certificate, preferably in a technical trade field. Other criteria for consideration will include financial need, service to others, and any hardships or academic struggles faced throughout school that distinguish the potential scholarship recipient from other students.

KENNA ROBARDS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 

Kenna Robards was a beloved math teacher at Rossview Middle School who lost her life in a car accident in 2019. This $1000 scholarship will be awarded in her honor to a Rossview High School college bound senior pursuing a degree in education. Other criteria for consideration will include financial need, GPA Awards, and other Activities/Leadership roles that distinguish the potential scholarship recipient from other students

JOSHUA LEE PLOCICA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 

Josh Plocica was a 2006 graduate of Rossview High School who gave his life serving our country in Iraq. This $5000 scholarship will be awarded in his honor to a Rossview High School college bound senior who best exhibits Josh’s character traits of hard work, sacrifice, kindness, and positive thinking and also exemplifies someone who is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Other criteria for consideration will include financial need, GPA, Awards, and other Activities/Leadership roles that distinguish the potential scholarship recipient from other students.

Annie Johnson Foundation Scholarships

Amount: $500.00

All applications must be postmarked by April 15th. The scholarship recipient will be contacted by the Foundation by June 30th. Please note that if you are selected as a scholarship recipient, you will be asked to present or send an audio/visual presentation of your typewritten statement (item #3 of the application), during the scholarship recipient ceremony in August of that year.

Tennessee Student-View Scholarship Program

The 2023 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $12,000 worth of Scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. 

The program includes:

One $10,000scholarship.

Two $1,000 scholarships.

Five $500 scholarships.

All Tennessee seniors who apply for the Student-View Scholarship will also be automatically be entered into the drawing for the new $500 Tennessee Senior Scholarship.

The application process is simple and requires only 15-20 minutes:

No minimum SAT/ACT score or grade point average.

No essay or lengthy application forms.

No applications fees.

CMCSS Employee Student Scholarship - CMC Education Foundation 


The CMC Education Foundation is pleased to announce the new Employee Student Scholarship Program. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide funds to two CMCSS Seniors to foster and promote the attainment of higher education by awarding scholarships to the legal dependents of current CMCSS full-time employees.

One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to the legal dependent of a current CMCSS classified employee, and one $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to the legal dependent of a current CMCSS certified employee. Legal dependents are qualified applicants who are natural-born or legally adopted children of a CMCSS employee or students covered by legal guardianship by a CMCSS employee.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Scholarship

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Nu Kappa Omega Chapter is committed to the

development of young people. In order to foster our young people’s growth, Nu Kappa

Omega Chapter is pleased to announce the availability of their scholarship. This scholarship

is designed to assist with purchasing books and other supplies for college. Each scholarship

recipient will be awarded $1,000.00.

This scholarship is available to all current high school seniors who meet the

requirements listed below:
