Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) offer assessment and treatment for severe emotional, behavioural and/or mental health difficulties.

CAMHS sees children and adolescents up to 18 years of age and their families who experience significant psychiatric disturbance or who are at risk of such disturbance. It is a multidisciplinary service, allowing patients access to a range of professionals all trained to treat children, adolescents and their families/carers
