11 Visual Art

Year 1 Visual Art incorporates printmaking, drawing and painting through 3 assessments with an end of year exhibition. The course includes access to 15 Rangitoto Diploma credits. In this course students will develop an understanding of established practice, compositional techniques and development of visual ideas through application of various media. They will learn how to use a range of wet and dry materials, with a focus on painting and will be given the freedom to develop an individualised approach with self portraiture as a starting point. 

There is a materials fee for this course of $50.00. For this course students will also require the Senior Painting Pack available through Gordon Harris. LINK HERE.
