11 Art

From 2019, there will be two courses offered at Year 11. Level 1 Visual Art (VAR), and Level 1 Digital Art (DAR). Both will explore art ideas, drawing techniques and artist models, and will offer the same standards and credits. All Year 11 work will be presented on folio boards at the end of the year and parents and community will be invited to view the work. The VAR course has more of a painting, drawing and printmaking  focus, while the DAR moves more quickly into Photography and Design. Students wishing to keep their options open at senior level should consider taking the Visual Arts Course, which can lead into any of the Senior Art disciplines.
