Class of 2018 Reunion
Friday, 15th September saw the children from the Class of 2018 returning to campus to enjoy their much anticipated 5 year reunion.
The quote “We didn’t realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun” couldn’t be more apt in describing the overall sentiment expressed by all our Old Cliftonians upon their return to our beautiful campus.
Animated conversations, special reconnections and bubbling laughter were the order of the day and despite many years having passed by, our young guests wasted no time in resuming old friendships just as if they’d seen each other yesterday!
Opening their time capsule was a particular highlight and reading letters, written by the ‘13 year old’ version of themselves provided much laughter and entertainment for all. Twin brothers, Nathan and Joshua Hoatson, even disappeared up into Top Woods with a shovel to uncover a hidden letter, using the coordinates they had inserted in the time capsule many moons ago. Adventure in true Clifton style!
As the Class of 2018 prepares to write their final exams, we wish them well and thank each of them for continuing to fly the Clifton flag high.
What a memorable evening we shared with this auspicious group of Old Cliftonians. We will be watching their continued successes with keen interest.
