Irving Middle School is located where South 22nd Street and Van Dorn Street meet in Lincoln, Nebraska. Built in 1927, Irving is the oldest middle school in Lincoln Public Schools.
History
History
Irving is the oldest middle school in the district and has a rich history of tradition that lives on in the daily culture of our school community. Our staff is a unique blend of experience and energetic youthfulness. Several of our staff are Irving alumni! Experienced or new to Irving, our teaching staff share a common goal to engage all students in meaningful learning experiences that will foster student success throughout their time at Irving.

Logging in to ParentVue - directions and a link below. ParentVue is one of the best tools for parents and guardians to stay updated.
Questions? - If you ever have questions, please ask! You can email or call teachers, counselors, admin and office staff.
Report a concern - Email or call us! You can also share your concern through Safe to Say - an online form through LPS website.
Drop off and pick up - View our traffic pattern video posted below.
Lockers - Every student will have their own locker. Staff can always help kids with lockers! View the video below for a quick tutorial.
Leaving for an appointment - Call the office and they will send your child a pass. Students wait inside Door 1 and come out on their own.
Newsletters - Families will receive school newsletters every month from Mrs. Kluck-Spann. Grade levels will also send out newsletters!
ParentVue allows parents and guardians to:
Monitor and report attendance
View daily schedules
Check on grades and missing assignments
Contact teachers and read updates from the classroom
Pay fees such as buying a yearbook or putting money in lunch accounts
Access previous report cards and course history
