We are delighted to share that Redwell has achieved its Platinum Green Tree School Award. This is the highest level of award and is the culmination of several years' hard work by our pupils. The Green Tree School Award celebrates the outdoors, and our pupils have been busy outside in all weathers, identifying animals, plants and trees; creating beautiful artwork; and learning how to appreciate nature. We are very proud of our achievement - look out for our plaque in the trophy cabinet!

Outdoor Learning Day - OLD
Over this school year, each class will have two outdoor learning days. This will be a whole day spent outside in our beautiful school grounds, learning about nature, being creative and having fun! Over the course of each outdoor learning day, we will be focussing on some of our meta-skills: collaborating, creativity, focussing, leading, communicating and feeling.
A big part of the fun of outdoor learning is being outside in all weathers - rain or shine! When it is your child's outdoor learning day, please ensure they are dressed for the weather and are wearing old clothes, as we may well be getting muddy and wet.
