I tested my final lamp design by plugging it in and was delighted with the results. Made primarily from wood and wire, the design is simple yet elegant, making it a perfect fit for a house predominantly built with wood. The lamp's stability is remarkable, standing tall and sturdy. Whether placed in a cozy cabin or a modern home, this lamp effortlessly blends in, adding a touch of warmth and beauty to any space.
When designing my final lamp, I found inspiration in online photos, including ones from Fortnite and a boombox design. While these images influenced my creative process, my final design was distinct and original. The lamp's wooden frame, sturdy wires, and carefully chosen materials give it a timeless appeal that fits seamlessly into any interior. Combining simplicity, elegance, and elements from these online photos, I created a lamp that reflects my creativity and personal style.
I only followed one design, which was the rift from Fortnite. The exciting part of this design was how the holes in the ball do a collide effect if it is dark inside the room. The amount of time that I spent to make this was only 2 class times because the planned process was pretty straightforward.
The aesthetics were definitely one of the main contributors to my lamp's success. That happened because it was carefully and cleanly glued on to the stand that holds the lightbulb.
