Grading Student Work

You have the ability to annotate and share assignments for students to complete directly in your Google Drive. However, the grading process is much easier if you choose to create Kami assignments directly in Google Classroom. If you do not have the paid version of Kami with a district or personal subscription, please see the previous module and the document "Creating a Google Classroom Assignment Using the Free Version of Kami".

If your district participates in the paid version of Kami, or you have a personal account, you have access to the same Kami tools to grade assignments and submit student grades directly with Kami and Google Classroom. Once student work is graded, it will appear in your Google Classroom Grades Tab and, if your district syncs their SIS with Google Classroom, directly in your grade reporting software.

Grading Student Work Using Google Classroom

** If you do not have students in your Google Classroom, contact a fellow teacher and add each other as a student in your Google Classrooms. You can work together to practice Kami on both the teacher and student side, and have the ability to practice grading an assignment.
