Google Meet is an excellent tool that you can use to maintain contact, and continue to provide instruction to your students, when you are not able to be in the classroom. Combining this video tool with applications such as Explain Everything, Google Slides, etc... you can still teach your students, just as you would in the classroom. Since the environment is different than a traditional classroom setting, it will take some time for you and your students to get accustomed to online learning. However, learning how to setup and use Google Meet successfully will be the first step in modifying your instructional delivery for your students.

If your students have access to their Google Calendar and Gmail accounts, or you would like to schedule a staff or grade level meeting, you can schedule a Google Meeting directly from Google Calendar. This option will automatically email your participants the Meeting details and a link to join at the designated time.
