USING THE COURSE PLANNING GUIDE
The Program Planning Guide contains all of the essential information needed for a student to plan their four-year educational program and should be read by both students and parents to assist with course selections.
The philosophy of the Cleveland Heights – University Heights City School District is to encourage students to pursue the highest level of instruction matching their motivation, interests, previous learning, and career aspirations. Placement is based on four aspects of a student’s background: standardized tests of achievement and ability; history of grades earned; teacher recommendations; and input from student and parent. The courses selected each spring will help determine the student’s schedule of classes for the next school year.
