Summer is right around the corner, but that’s the perfect time to get a head start for next school year! Knock out your college essay before the chaos of Senior Year starts or get a leg up on the new digital SAT.

FOR RISING SENIORS - CLASS OF 2026!
Looking to get ahead of the college application process? Well, here’s your opportunity! Get started completing college applications before your Senior year even begins. Experience less stress and get a jump on applications before everything gets hectic!
Given that more than 90% of Cherry Hill East college applications are done via the Common Application, we have designed a Common App/Naviance Summer Workshop for FREE!!! This workshop will be hosted by School Counselors Darren Gamel and Bert Figueroa and held at East. Students and parents/guardians are welcome to attend the one session that is convenient for them, as they are all the same. Please take advantage of this incredible opportunity to relieve stress and get ahead of the college application process by completing about 85% of the Common Application by the end of the workshop.
Students (and parents/guardians) are welcome and encouraged to bring their own devices to these workshops, but Cherry Hill Public School computers will be available for use.
DATES: Wednesday, July 2 & Tuesday, August 5, 2025
TIMES: 2:30pm or 6:00pm each day (Sessions are 2 hours in length)
LOCATION: Cherry Hill East - Library Annex
Registration is required. You must click the link above and complete the short FORM to reserve a spot. A confirmation email will be sent to you after you complete the form.
If you schedule a workshop and cannot attend, please edit your response to the Google Form or contact the Guidance Office, so we can open the seat to another student.
Questions? Contact Guidance at (856) 424-2222 ext. 2538
HOSTS: Counselors Darren Gamel dgamel@chclc.org and Bert Figueroa rfigueroa@chclc.org
