"This book is intended to change the way you think about admissions essays. It is organized around the idea that mindfulness – something we all have the power to cultivate – is the guiding force behind an admissions essay that is unique, compelling, and reflective of your individual personality.

You might also think of this book as a series of thought experiments. The purpose of these experiments is to condition your writing muscles. It’s not an overnight process. I can’t promise that by the end of this book, writing your essay will be easy, but I can promise that you’ll have the tools you need to write something that sets you apart."

Test Scores (Superscoring, Test Optional Schools, etc.)

WHERE CAN I GET IN WITH MY SCORES?

The CollegeSimply platform analyzes admissions data from over 3,500 U.S. colleges to determine what SAT and ACT test scores get into every college. Select your test score to find out where you may fit in best, and estimate how likely you are to get accepted.  www.collegesimply.com/guides/colleges-by-test-score

TEST SUPERSCORING COLLEGES

Superscoring is the process by which colleges consider your highest section scores across all the dates you took the SAT or ACT. Rather than confining your scores to one particular date, these schools will take your highest section scores from each time you took the test, forming the highest possible composite score for you!
