10:00pm Project Graduation at Cherry Hill East (only for students who purchased tickets - no tickets sold at the door)

Graduation FAQ
Q: IF I DO NOT WALK IN GRADUATION, when do I get my diploma?
A: If you don’t have any obligations, and you are not participating in the graduation ceremony (you need to fill out a Graduation Waiver Form - you can get one at the bottom of this web page and send it to dbarr@chclc.org if you do not plan on walking), you can pick up your diploma any Monday - Thursday from 7am-3pm, starting on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023. WE DO NOT MAIL OUT DIPLOMAS.
Q: When do I get my vouchers for graduation?
A: You receive an envelope with FOUR (4) vouchers (each voucher is good for 5 people, so you can have 20 people total) at the FINAL GRADUATION REHEARSAL, Thursday, June 15th, 2023.
Q: Can I get my graduation vouchers early?
A: No, you cannot get your graduation tickets early. If you are not able to attend the final mandatory graduation rehearsal, you will need to come to the school to pick up your tickets no later than 2pm on Thursday, June 15th (school will be closed in observation of Juneteenth on Friday, June 16th).
Q: But what if my friends/relatives are coming from out of town? How will I get the tickets to them?
A: If you are not going to see them the day before graduation, you can arrange to meet them outside of the Liacouras Center before graduation to give them their tickets.
Q: Can I get EXTRA graduation tickets?
A: No. If you have more than 20 people, you may have to disappoint some extended family.
Q: Where can my relative/friend with disabilities park?
A: There are plenty of accessible parking spaces for people with disabilities at the Liacouras Center.
Q: Do I have to go to the graduation rehearsals?
A: YES! You will receive your cap and gown, graduation tickets and placement/seat for graduation. It’s essential that you attend your 2 rehearsals.
Q: When do I get my Cap & Gown?
A: You will be able to pick up your Cap & Gown in the Library Annex at CH East AFTER your rehearsal on either Tuesday, June 13th or Wednesday, June 14th. Make sure you have paid for your cap and gown (dbarr@chclc.org has the list).
Q: When do I get my diploma?
A: If you don’t have any obligations, you will receive your diploma RIGHT AFTER THE GRADUATION CEREMONY. We will have tables set up and faculty/staff will be handing out large envelopes with your diploma and any scholarships you received.
Q: How long is the graduation ceremony?
A: It usually lasts about 1hour and 50minutes. Once you have received your graduation envelope, you are free to leave with your family/friends.
Q: How do I purchase tickets for Project Graduation? Can I just buy them at the door?
A: NO, you cannot buy your Project Graduation tickets at the door. You must purchase them in advance. The PTA will be selling Project Graduation tickets at every major Senior event: Yearbook Signing, Senior Skating Party, and before & after each of the 3 Graduation Rehearsals. The FINAL Graduation Rehearsal (Thursday, June 15th, 2023) is your LAST chance to purchase Project Graduation tickets.
Q: When is Project Graduation? How long does it last?
A: Project Graduation is at Cherry Hill East on the evening of your graduation (June 19th). It is from 10:00pm that evening until 5am the next morning. It’s full of music, entertainment, sports, prizes, and so much more. CLICK HERE
Q: Where do I get those cool graduation lawn signs for my front yard?
A: All signs are being sold ONLINE ONLY BY THE PTA at https://cherryhilleastpta.memberhub.store (these are not being sold by the school, so any questions you have must go to Lisa Stanwyck at stanwyck@comcast.net) - once you have ordered your sign, you must come to the school Student Parking Lot to pick it up at one of the designated dates/times (Tues. 5/9 between 2:30-4pm, Thurs. 5/11 between 6:30-7:30pm OR Tues 5/16 between 6:30-7:30pm)
Q: How do I buy balloons for a graduate?
A: Fill out a balloon tag (included on Page 10 of the packet), and drop it off, along with your payment ($5/balloon), to the Main Entrance Vestibule in an envelope marked, “Project Graduation Balloons.” Drop it in the basket that says “PTA.” You can also mail your tag/payment to “CHHS East PTA – Project Graduation – Balloons, 1750 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.” *Make checks payable to CHHSE PTA - Project Graduation
Q: When is the last day I can purchase balloons for a graduate?
A: The last day is JUNE 5th, 2023. Balloons CANNOT be purchased after that date.
Q: How do I get specialty seating for my relative/friend with disabilities?
A: Fill out the GOOGLE FORM BY June 2nd, 2023, and we will mail ONLY your accessible seating tickets to you for your relative/friend with disabilities. THIS IS NOT A GRADUATION TICKET. You will still need a voucher to get into graduation (which will be handed out to your graduate at the final grad rehearsal on June 15th, 2023). Once you have entered the stadium you will use your disabled seating ticket to get to your seat. ONE (1) able-bodied person can sit with the family member/friend with a disability, but no more than that, as we are reserving the accessible seating for people with disabilities.

**Please make sure you pay by Debit/Credit on payschools to avoid a $1.95 service fee (ACH Direct Deposit will charge you $1.95, but Debit/Credit will charge you a 4% fee. So, it's better to use Debit/Credit for smaller payments, and ACH for larger payments)
***If you prefer to pay by physical check or cash, you can drop that off at the Main Entrance between 7am-2:30pm Mondays - Fridays. MAKE CHECKS OUT TO "Cherry Hill East" and put your student's first/last name and "2023 Cap & Gown" in the MEMO.
