LOCATION: Liacouras Center (Temple University)
Senior Parent/Guardian Mandatory Prom/Grad Meeting
TUESDAY, MAY 5th at 7:00pm in CAFETERIA I
Q: When do I get my vouchers for graduation?
A: You receive an envelope with FOUR (4) vouchers (each voucher is good for 5 people, so you can have 20 people total) at the FINAL GRADUATION REHEARSAL, Tuesday, June 16th, 2026.
Q: Can I get my graduation vouchers early?
A: No, you cannot get your graduation tickets early. IF you are not able to attend the final mandatory graduation rehearsal, you will need to come to the school to pick up your tickets no later than 12pm on Wednesday, June 17th.
Q: But what if my friends/relatives are coming from out of town? How will I get the tickets to them?
A: If you are not going to see them the day before graduation, you can arrange to meet them outside of the Liacouras Center before graduation to give them their tickets.
Q: Can I get EXTRA graduation tickets?
A: No. If you have more than 20 people, you may have to disappoint some extended family.
Q: Where does my relative/friend with disabilities sit at graduation?
A: Once you have entered the stadium you will see the accessible seating at the top of the stadium. ONE (1) able-bodied person can sit with the family member/friend with disabilities, but no more than that, as we would like there to be enough accessible seating for people with disabilities.
Q: Where can my relative/friend with disabilities park?
A: There are plenty of accessible parking spaces at the Liacouras Center.
Q: Do I have to go to the graduation rehearsals?
A: YES! You will receive your cap and gown, graduation tickets and placement/seat for graduation. It’s essential that you attend your 2 rehearsals.
Q: When do I get my Cap & Gown?
A: You will be able to pick up your Cap & Gown in the Library Annex at CH East after grad rehearsal on Monday, June 15th (Last names A-L at 11:30am; Last names M-Z at 2:30pm). Make sure you have paid for your cap and gown (dbarr@chclc.org has the list) and returned ALL school books (sschultes@chclc.org) and chromebooks.
Q: When do I get my diploma?
A: If you don’t have any obligations, you will receive your diploma during the graduation ceremony. It will be in a large, manilla envelope with your name on it.
Q: IF I DO NOT WALK IN GRADUATION, when do I get my diploma?
A: If you don’t have any obligations, and you are not participating in the graduation ceremony (you need to fill out a Graduation Waiver Form - you can get one below) and send it to dbarr@chclc.org - If you do not plan on walking, you can pick up your diploma any Monday - Thursday from 7am-3pm, starting on Monday, June 22nd, 2026. WE DO NOT MAIL OUT DIPLOMAS.
Q: Where can I park for graduation?
A: If you’d like to park in the Liacouras Center Garage, we will distribute 3 parking vouchers per family at the final Graduation practice (parking in this lot is $14.00 with the voucher and $22.00 without the voucher).
Q: How long is the graduation ceremony?
A: It usually lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Make sure you have your diploma and diploma cover, then you are free to leave with your family/friends (there is no bus to bring graduates back to the school).
Q: Is Graduation going to be live-streamed?
A: NO, there is no Graduation live-stream, BUT the Graduation Ceremony is recorded and will be posted to the district YouTube channel around 6 weeks after Graduation. Please be patient with this posting, as it takes time for the videographer and technology team to edit and upload the videos. So, they usually aren’t up until late July.
