What is a Cliq Card?
The Cliq Card is like a pre paid debit card (not a credit card). Your pay will be loaded onto the card each pay day, giving you immediate access to the money. Each pay cycle, your pay will be loaded onto the same card.
Can I use my Cliq Card right away?
Before using the Cliq Card, you must activate it by following the steps below:
Go to https://cardsbycliq.com/.
Click “New User? Enroll Now.”
Follow steps for New User Enrollment and create User ID and Password. Make sure you have your 16 digit card number, date of birth and social security number or passport number as these will be required.
Login to the system using the User ID and Password.
If you're prompted during setup to enter the last 4 digits of your phone number and it doesn’t work, try 2471 instead.
How do I manage the Cliq Card?
You can access your account using the free Cliq Mobile App. You can use this to view your balance, view your transaction history, find in-network ATMs, send money to another card, change your PIN, dispute fraudulent transactions and send money to your bank account.
Alternatively, you can go online to https://cardsbycliq.com/ to access your information.
Note: Hold off on checking your account balance at an ATM as you may be charged a fee to do so.
What do I do if I have a question or issue regarding my Cliq Card?

When do I use my pin?
Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is required when withdrawing funds from an ATM or when making a “PIN debit” purchase. We recommend bypassing the PIN at a terminal to avoid the $.50 PIN fee.
Are there fees associated with Cliq Card?
Yes, some businesses, ATMs and banks will charge a fee to use a Cliq Card. Please check the fee schedule and transaction limits by following this link.
Can I use the Cliq Card to make a purchase?
Yes, you may use your Cliq Card everywhere VisaDebit cards are accepted. When making a purchase at a store, avoid fees by selecting the Credit option when prompted at the register.
Can I get cash back at a store?
Yes. You can get ‘Cash Back’ from a PIN debit transaction at participating merchants.
Can I take out cash at an ATM?
Yes. It is best to use MoneyPass ATMs to withdraw cash without a surcharge. To find your closest in-network ATM, use the Cliq Mobile App or go to moneypass.com.
Can I get a Cash Advance?
Withdraw all or any portion of your funds at any participating Visamember bank by requesting a ‘Cash Advance’ from your card for a specific amount directly from the teller. You can receive one over-the-counter ‘Cash Advance’ every seven days at no cost. Please note some banks may charge additional fees.
Can I use Cliq Cards with Venmo and Zelle?
The Cliq Cards can be used for Venmo if you upgrade your account to Payroll Plus. Please contact Cliq to learn more about this feature. Zelle cannot be used at all with Cliq Cards.
What happens if your card is lost or stolen?
Call Cliq customer service immediately to report the lost or stolen card. Go to the camp director and request a replacement card. Your funds can be transferred to the replacement card. If after hours you can block your card via the IVR or online.
Are my funds protected?
Yes, your funds are protected by the VisaZero Liability Policy. Immediately call the Customer Service number on the back of your card if you feel your card has been compromised.
What do I do when I leave the country?
You can use your card abroad anywhere Mastercard cards are accepted. Or, you can spend or withdraw your money before leaving the US. The USA PATRIOT Act prohibits Cliq® from allowing transactions in certain countries. For a list of countries this applies to, please call Customer Service.
How do I transfer my balance to an international bank account?
Card to Bank account transfers can only be done to a domestic bank. International bank account transfers are not permitted. For other available options, please contact Customer Service.
