We are so excited you are a part of the CHS band family! Please take time to complete ALL of the information to register your student for band.
In an effort to streamline the registration process and minimize the written completion of forms containing redundant information, the following electronic form includes the following:
*student and parent/guardian information,
*volunteer interest forms,
*the CFBISD Field Trip Permission, Waiver and Release form,
*student medical information (to include insurance and medication info if pertinent),
*the UIL Parent/Student Marching Band Acknowledgement Form, and
*the CFBISD District-wide Guidelines for Extracurricular Students Form.
Information on this form is visible to the band directors and band booster admins of this form.
During years in which registration is completed in person, other items of business are also completed during the band registration process to include:
*fitting and ordering of student-owned portions of the marching uniform and required supplies such as marching shoes (MTXs), gloves, compression shirts/shorts to be worn under the uniform, monogrammed duffel bags, and marching show shirts,
*ordering of optional student spiritwear shirts to be worn during rehearsals,
*ordering of family/student band spiritwear items such as t-shirts, hoodies, hats, pj and sweat pants, bumper stickers, buttons, keychains, blankets, etc.
*ordering of game day meals,
*uniform fitting,
*ordering of Letterman jackets and patches (worn during cold weather games - no other coats/jackets permitted in the stands),
*payment of band fees,
*verification of student/parent information in CHARMS office assistant, the database used by the band directors and booster club to manage a variety of items related to participation in the band, including communication with students and families,
*sign up for the band booster club,
*payment of band fees as follows with $140 deposit due upon registration.
$340 band only
$396 percussion (band fee +percussion fee)
$371 jazz band (band fee + jazz fee)
$415 all guard (band fee + guard fee)

Due to the unusual circumstances we find ourselves in due to COVID-19, your Creekview Band Boosters are responding accordingly. We are sensitive to possible changes in families’ financial circumstances resulting from the current economic conditions. As a result, we have thoroughly reviewed and reduced fiscal year expenses in an effort to provide a reduction in students band fees. We have also coordinated with the band director to eliminate many supplies you are required to purchase in a typical band year. Please see below for more detail regarding projected total expenses for band and guard members for the school year.

Includes links to complete fee payment, order spirit wear, keep up to date regarding the band calendar (including how to import the band calendar to yours), sign up for private lessons (highly encouraged!), social media links, director contact information, and MUCH MORE.
2. Pay band fees. Band fees and expenses may be paid in full upon registration OR a deposit of $140 made today, with remaining fees paid in 3 installments due on 9/1, 10/1 and 11/1. Please see directions in the following section for payment method options.
3. Visit CHARMSOFFICE.COM to verify the accuracy of your student's information. This is very important! This database is used by the directors to communicate frequently regarding important band-related information. The school code is creekviewhsband and password is your student's id#. Select "parent/student area." Update information under the "personal information" tab to include student and parent data. If you need the password reset, please contact CreekviewBBCTreasurer@gmail.com.
4. If you plan on volunteering, a volunteer background check must be completed once it is made available by the district. Visit the district web site at cfbisd.edu/about-us/community-involvement/volunteer-in-cfbisd/ for more information.
5. Join the CHS Band Boosters! A small $5 per year fee is requested and may be included with your deposit upon registration. A great way to get to know other band parents and become involved in the CHS Band experience!
Again, welcome back! We are so glad you are a part of the Mustang band family. All families are strongly encouraged to be active participants in the band program.
Band fees cover the show shirt, snacks for games, transportation costs, clinicians, private lesson scholarships, marching techs, banquet, senior scholarships, supplemental music and programs and much more.
For the 2020-21 school year, breakdown is as follows: 24% logistics, 26% marching, 46% instructional, 4% administrative. Does not include a $278 per student fundraising gap.
In the 2019-20 school year, breakdown was as follows: 49% marching band (included travel to Bands of America contest in Midland, TX), 32% instructional, 14% logistics, 4% administrative. Fees were $500/student.
Fees do not include fundraising to close the gap between the CHS Band Booster budget, district monies, and per student expenditures.
