The Creekview Percussion section is open to all percussionists (and select double reeds in the fall) who have successfully participated in a middle school band program. The members of Creekview Percussion focus on the Creekview Band Competition show, along with All-State music in the fall semester. The Creekview Percussion Section participates at all events as part of the Creekview Mustang Band, as well as regional drumline competitions.

During the spring semester, the Creekview Percussion students perform solos at the UIL Solo Ensemble Contest and will audition for placement in UIL performing groups.

In addition, the Creekview Percussion Ensemble presents its annual percussion concert, during the Spring semester, featuring students from Blalack Middle School, as well as Guest Artists.
