Welcome! We're so excited to hear you play and to welcome you into a great return Fall semester! We are looking to help you place in the correct ensemble, with a performance-based audition, and will utilize your recording auditions to place you in the band that will meet your playing ability.
Remember that you'll be in Band for 4 years and will have time to determine the pace of improvement: consider private lessons, practice, commitment, and enjoyment will greatly help speed up your playing ability! WHAT SHOULD WE DO ABOUT BAND ACTIVITY PHYSICALS AND MEDICAL HISTORY FORMS?
This is a requirement for all students that participate in Marching Band. At the minimum, we might be required to secure a physical for 9th & 11th graders - we're working to see if we can have a Waiver for the coming school year. more information on this will be emailed in the coming months. For now, we will encourage you to secure a physical with your physicians when we are able to return, June or July.
