A Mexican musical ensemble that has become an institution symbolic of Mexican music and culture.
“Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán” in Tecalitlán, Jalisco founded in 1898 - one of the most influential mariachi groups of all time.
Mariachi became widely adopted as a national symbol for Mexico after the Revolution of 1910.
