📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: ISRO Young Scientist Programme (YUVIKA) 2026 🚀

Dear Students, Teachers & Grade Coordinators,

We are pleased to inform you that the ISRO Young Scientist Programme (YUVIKA) 2026 by Indian Space Research Organisation is now open for applications.

This is a prestigious opportunity for our young learners to experience space science training directly under ISRO scientists.

👩‍🚀 Who Can Apply?

Students who will be in Class 9 as of 1st January 2026 (currently studying in Class 8).

📅 Important Dates

Registration Open: 27 February 2026
Last Date to Apply: 10 March 2026
Programme Duration: 11 May – 22 May 2026

🎯 Selection Criteria

50% weightage: Class 8 academic performance
Online Quiz Performance
Extra-curricular achievements (Sports, Olympiads, NCC/Scouts)

📌 Instructions for Teachers & Coordinators

🧮 Mathematics Teacher

Guide students in strengthening numerical aptitude and logical reasoning for the online quiz.

🔬 Science Teacher

Mentor interested students in space science concepts and help them prepare academically.

💻 IT Teacher

Assist students in completing the online application process and quiz registration.

🏅 Sports Teacher

Provide records/certificates of students’ sports achievements to support their applications.

👩‍🏫 Grade 8 Coordinator

Identify eligible and high-potential students.
Inform and counsel parents.
Ensure applications are completed before the deadline.
Submit the final list of applicants to the Principal’s office.
