Intra-Class One Rakhi Competition: An Amulet of Faith and Prosperity
August 29, 2023
In the spirit of hard work and encouragement, we bring you another opportunity for joy and learning with the Intra-Class One Rakhi Competition: An Amulet of Faith and Prosperity.
This intra-class competition will feature several themes, with each class creating a rakhi that conveys a specific message or sentiment.
**Understanding for Parents and Students
(1) Bring any small amount of decorative WASTE materials or objects to decorate one rakhi with your classmates.
(2) The rakhi must be crafted between 8:10 and 9:50 AM in class only.
(3) There will be intra-class prizes for first, second, and third place.
(4) The rakhis (amulets) will be presented to communities that have made significant contributions to our nation, such as: * Soldiers (BSF and Army) * Welfare societies * Underprivileged welfare communities * Sports communities/Bharat Vikas Parishad * Vyapar Mandal * Police department * Traffic department * Doctors * Post office * District court * Temple * Mosque * Church * Rotary * MLA
(5) The theme of the rakhi must be prominently displayed. This can be done by: * Including the logo of the community or department being honored. * Illustrating the skills or nature of work of the community or department. * Including a message of gratitude. * Using the tagline "An Amulet of Faith and Prosperity within you, AVPS, Fazilka on 29 August, 2023."
(6) Be creative and come up with your own ideas for crafting the amulet.
(7) The judges will be evaluating the rakhis based on the following criteria: * Decoration based on the theme (5 points) * Tagline design (5 points) * Community/department message, logo, and presentation (5 points) * Idea/thought communicated based on the theme (5 points)
**Understanding for Class In-Charges
(1) A hardboard sheet with a minimum size of 2 feet should be used as the base for the rakhi.
(2) The hardboard sheet must be arranged by the class in-charges.
(3) The rakhis must be made between 8:10 and 9:50 AM.
(4) On August 29, 2023, the rakhis will be presented to the specific departments based on the theme.
(5) To schedule a presentation of the rakhis, please contact the coordinators/class heads (Blooms).
(6)The themes must be reviewed before presenting to the classes.

The judges will be a panel of art teachers and English teachers.

The Art & Craft department is excited to announce the Pointillism Art (VI-XII) Inter-House Competition! This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your artistic skills and creativity.
The competition will be held on July 5, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Art & Craft room.
There will be prizes for the first, second, and third place winners in each house. So what are you waiting for? Start creating your masterpieces!
Here are the rules of the competition:
The artwork must be created using the pointillism technique.
The artwork must be on a 12" x 12" canvas.
The artwork must be original and not copied from any other source.
