✨ “ Freedom with Flute – Azadi aur Krishna Leela”
(A celebration of India’s Independence and the divine birth of Shri Krishna.)
🌸 On 14th August , our school will celebrate two joys together—the pride of India’s freedom and the grace of Lord Krishna’s birth.
Let us fill the air with Krishna bhajans, colorful parades, symbolic dahi‑handi celebrations and tricolor smiles. Together, we honor our culture and our nation with devotion and pride. 🇮🇳🎶🌼
🎯 Class‑wise Celebration Plan
✅ Section 1 – Blooms 1,2 and 3
👶 Dress : Krishna and Radha costumes (if not available, school uniform is fine).
🎭 Activity :
* Mini Krishna Leela Parade – Little ones dressed as Krishna and Radha walk in a small procession
carrying tiny flutes and peacock feathers.
🧈 Krishna’s Butter Pot Surprise
Children take out a cotton “butter” ball from a decorated matki and say a sweet word like Love, Smile, Thank You, Jai Hind, Radhe‑Radhe.
After all have taken, they join in clapping and sing a tiny Krishna rhyme or bhajan together to end the activity.
Sing a simple bhajan like “Radhe Krishna ki Jyoti” with claps.
✅ Section 2 – Classes 1 & 2
🌸 Dress : Traditional Indian wear in any festive color, tri colour (or school uniform).
🎭 Activity:
Tricolor Matki Walk – Each class prepares one decorated matki with saffron, white, and green ribbons.
Children walk in a line with the matki while holding small flags and singing a patriotic rhyme.
✅ Section 3 – Classes 3, 4 & 5
🌼 Dress : Yellow traditional wear (or school uniform).
🎭 Activity :
Heritage Dahi‑Handi Symbolic Event – Hang a matki (not for breaking) decorated with tricolor ribbons.
Children dance around it in a circle to a Krishna bhajan and salute the flag at the end.
✅ Section 4 – Classes 6, 7 & 8
🌿 Dress : Tricolor kurta‑pajama/salwar suits (or school uniform).
🎭 Activity :
Flute Messages of Freedom – Each student writes one line on a strip: “My way to serve India.”
All strips are tied around a large symbolic flute placed on stage as “The Flute of Freedom.”
✅ Section 5 – Classes 9, 10, 11 & 12
🏵 Dress : Tricolor or yellow traditional wear (or school uniform).
🎶 Activity:
Stage & Venue Decoration – Students decorate with eco‑friendly flowers and cloth in tricolor.
Live Bhajan Mandali – Students perform Krishna bhajans with harmonium, tabla, manjira, and dholak.
End with “Vande Mataram” sung together.
📌 Important Guidelines
✅ Costumes are not compulsory; if students do not have a traditional dress, school uniform is allowed.
✅ Boys and girls may wear:
✔ Traditional kurta‑pajama, salwar suit, lehenga in yellow or tricolor (saffron/white/green).
❌ No jeans, no shorts, no skirts, no western wear.

PDF Preparation
- Create a PDF containing 100 questions related to current events or affairs.
- Topics to consider:
1. National and international news
2. Science and technology
3. Sports
4. Environment and conservation
5. History and culture
- PDF will be finalized by February 4.
- Material will be sent via PDF on February 5 by 12:00 noon.
Stage Setup
- Arrange the stage with a buzzer system and a scoreboard.
- Art room will be closed for the quiz competition .
- All preparations will be done by supervisors and assigned teachers.
- Only market-purchased materials will be provided by the school so by tomorrow write in demand register.
Conducting the Quiz Competition
1. Team Formation: Divide students into teams of 3-4.
2. Round 1: Preliminary Round: Ask 20-25 questions, and teams will buzz in to answer.
3. Round 2: Rapid Fire Round: Ask 10-15 questions, and teams will have to answer quickly.
4. Round 3: Final Round: Top 2-3 teams will participate, and 5-10 questions will be asked.
Additional Tips
1. Time Management: Set a timer for each round to keep the competition moving.
2. Clear Instructions: Explain the rules and format clearly to the students before the competition.
3. Encourage Teamwork: Emphasize the importance of teamwork and collaboration among team members.
