The National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude (NASTA) is a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate the scientific temperament and aptitude of students in classes 5 to 12. It is an important initiative undertaken by CSIR-NIScPR and NCPL to promote scientific thinking, curiosity, and analytical skills among young minds.

Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) is one of the major initiatives taken up by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and National Institute of Science Communication Policy Research (NIScPR), under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. The vision of the same is to identify and capture scientific and technological temperament in students to make India a global leader in the field of science, technology and humanities.
It is pertinent to mention that KAMP is one of the initiatives amongst several activities of CSIR-NIScPR, under the scheme of CSIR’s Knowledge Alliance with private industry. M/s Nysa Communication Pvt. Ltd. is the industrial partner and CSIR-NIScPR is providing the intellectual and technical inputs through a monitoring committee. CSIR-NIScPR is the knowledge partner in KAMP and the execution is done by M/s Nysa Communication Pvt Ltd at their own capacity.
