MarComms Culture Agreements are a set of behavioral tools. Think of it as your secret sauce for success in all the other projects we've got going on. It's a way for us to work better together, understand each other, and just be kinder to one another. This page will allow you to learn more about them.
“At CBC MarComms, we promote open dialogue, constructive conflict resolution, transparent decision-making, and inclusivity. We foster collaborating with clarity and integrated creativity, encouraging respect and valuing each team member.”
MarComms Culture Agreement comprises four vital components: Communication, Conflict Resolution, Clarity in Decision Making, and Culture (4Cs). These elements govern how the team operates and interacts to align with its mission, vision, and values as articulated in the Culture Statement.
● Communication focuses on information exchange, emphasizing active listening, transparency, and clarity for a collaborative and inclusive culture, ensuring every team member feels heard and informed.
● Conflict Resolution deals with addressing disputes constructively, fostering a safe environment for dissenting views, and diverse perspectives, promoting growth through open dialogue.
● Clarity in Decision Making emphasizes transparent guidelines and empowerment for decision-making in line with team values.
● Culture shapes the team's atmosphere, stressing inclusivity and collaboration, where each member feels valued, respected, and empowered. It encourages breaking down silos, promoting transparency, and offering opportunities for professional growth and innovation.
The Culture Agreement translates the team's values into actionable principles, creating a cohesive framework for effective teamwork. By adhering to these agreements, the team nurtures a positive, empowering environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement, reinforcing shared values and the collective vision.
