MarComms's Inclusion Team's mission is to collaboratively drive the implementation of inclusive practices, policies, and initiatives while ensuring effective dialogue between different stakeholders within the department. Its mission outlines:
Supporting the EDI Lead's Initiatives
Collaborate with the EDI Lead to execute the department's IDEA strategy.
Help integrate EDI principles into various processes, such as hiring, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Facilitating Communication
Act as a bridge between IDEA Collective and the extended leadership team, ensuring an open and transparent flow of information.
Facilitating meetings where concerns, suggestions, and ideas from IDEA Collective can be shared with leadership.
Communicate leadership decisions and initiatives back to IDEA Collective to maintain a sense of alignment and transparency.
Collecting and Analyzing Feedback
Gather feedback from employees at all levels regarding EDI matters, fostering an environment where everyone's input is valued.
Analyze feedback to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential challenges in achieving a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Measuring Progress
Work with the EDI Lead to define and track key performance indicators that measure progress in achieving IDEA goals.
Regularly report progress to IDEA Collective and leadership, highlighting successes and areas needing attention.
